How to use corn remover pads?

Corn remover pads are commonly used to treat corns on the toes. These pads contain an acid that are supposed to eat or destroy the corn. The problem is that they do not always work two well for a couple of reasons: the acid in the corn remover pads can not tell what is a corn and what is normal skin, so it will just eat whatever you put it on. They also have nothing to do with what might be causing the corn and unless that is addressed, even if the corn remover pad does remove some of the corn, it is going to come back. They only way to get rid of corns is to get rid of what was causing it in the first place, which is the excessive pressure.
